Texture Additives

Dynoadd^® P-Series are monodisperse, spherical crosslinked PMMA particles. They are compatible with water-borne, solvent-borne and radcure coating formulations. The particles can be used to create textured surfaces, smooth feel, scratch resistance and controlled gloss depending on sizes and film thicknesses used.

The monodisperse nature of the product means that every particle is identical in size and therefore creates the same effect. Every particle added counts and so reduces the amount of additive needed to give the desired effect at significantly lower levels of addition, thus lower cost. This is a major benefit over conventional screened particles where 25 - 50% of the additive can be inactive waste and can give undesired side effects. The monodisperse particle size distribution enables independent control of both texture and gloss.

Dynoadd^® P-Series Particles are transparent; giving the ability to formulate textured or reduced gloss clear coats.

Choose from 6, 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40 µm particles.
